Can I machine wash hand-woven textiles?

Hand towels are 100% machine washable. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Hot iron if needed. Specific washing instructions will come with each product. 

Do not hand machine wash wall hangings or zipper bags - spot clean only + hang to dry.

Can I machine wash naturally dyed textiles?
     Yes, but be weary of harsh chemicals in your washing process - it is no surprise that natural dyes do not get along well with harsh detergents. These can fade colors that would otherwise last with proper care. I treat my textiles with different mordants, which work to keep the colors bright and fixed to the fabric.

     If you must, machine wash on delicate in cool water with a gentle soap, but hand washing is preferable for naturally dyed fabrics. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Warm iron if needed. Keep out of direct sun light. Specific washing instructions will come with each product. 

Where do you source your natural dyes?
     I forage as many dyes from the world around me [i. e. my kitchen, backyard, forests & fields]. For natural dyes that are harder to obtain locally, I purchase high quality sustainable dyes from a reliable online source.
